Good tonneau cover

Just bought this tonneau for a new F150. It arrived less than a week after ordering and I had it unboxed and installed in about 5 minutes. It fits well, is easy to take on and off, and looks good. I like the ease of access to the bed and also that it locks securely with the F150 tailgate. I took it through a car wash and did have a little water in the bed but nothing that would have caused any issues for cargo I would carry. Haven't had it out in the rain yet, but will be interested to see if there are any leaks. So far it's as good as advertised.

I ordered the Extang Solid Fold for my '08 Tundra and it was delivered in about two weeks. I was already tired of removing snow from the bed of my truck earlier in the week, so I put it on the same day in 20 degree weather with a 30 mph wind blowing . Piece of cake install ! I have a factory bedliner and thought that it wouldn't fit without some modification. I was wrong.The location of the rear clamps are well thought out and can be tightened in place with a factory bedliner installed. Quality and fit is good. I washed road salt residue off the vehicle and was careful not to rinse heavily at the juncture of the truck bed and the tonneau cover. It has stayed dry inside so far. I crawled inside and closed the cover before tightening down and repositioned it so that I could see no daylight around the edges before final clamping. I don't know if other reviewers that complained about leaking did this before final tightening. With a lockable tailgate , gear can be somewhat secured.

Big Disappointment

Ordered on the advice of a friend who has had good experience with this cover; sorry to say I did not. It arrived 2 weeks to the day after ordering, was in good condition & easy to install. I used it for about 3 weeks, the first thing I noticed was that it let in a lot of dust, the entire bed and contents were covered with dust. Then, the first time it was in a hard rain, it leaked and everthing in the bed got wet. That was enough for me, I took it off and returned it for a refund. Cabela's is top notch, but this product was a big disappointment.

best topper ever

I have had several different toppers/covers etc. both folding and fiberglass on my last 5 trucks. Not one can compare to this product. It is self locking, from inside the bed, allowing you, with a locked tailgate, to safely leave anything out you please. No water gets inside, and the mileage on my 2010 F150 supercrew went up 2 full MPG.
