If you need a true outlet to attached an external extension cord, order the ProMariner, which has a 3-prong connection. This item is merely a nice grommet for pulling an electrical cord through. If that suits your application, it will work nice, as it is designed to keep the end of the cord from disappearing inside the compartment. It has a weather resistant cap to cover the hole, and will protect an averaged sized extension cord plug inside this fitting.

Worth the install

This cord helper keeps the charger cord off the floor of the boat and away from any water. It keeps the cord from falling into the compartment with a threaded and slotted back piece. Just need a 1 3/4" hole saw and small drill bits for the 3 face screws. Great add on, and makes the whole rig look cleaner.

I bought this for my hunting boat so I could keep my batteries on a battery maintainer. This would keep my batteries warm and fully charged every time I am ready to hit the lake for hunting. This product is EASY to install, takes up LITTLE space, and has a NEAT finished look. It PROTECTS the charger cord plug-in from the elements using the rubber cap that was included. I would buy this product again anytime and recommend it to my friends!

Charge cord outlet

Installed this outlet to conceal the cord for my onboard charger. Very simple and efficient. Keeps the plug clean and dry for charging as soon as I return home.
