Very disappointed. I expected a padded interior like my other Kolpin boots, which allow for a "quick draw". Instead it has a flimsy zip up case inside.

The boot and bracket are good products. However the soft case leaves something to be desired. The zipper broke on my initial test fit. Do NOT count on it lasting long. The zipper appears to be very light duty. I mounted it to a 06 Polaris Sportsman. There are numerous mounting positions which I liked. If I were buying this now, I would definately look into one of the Cabelas Tactical Rifle Case (Item: IK-230046) to use in lieu of the Koplin soft case. I have the 47" that I now use. With my DPMS LR308, bipod and Mark 4 there is still plenty of room to get it in the hard case and close it.

While the gun boot is solid and well built, the hard case needs to be more easily removed from the mount. The soft case is also nice but the zipper has already broken after only 3 uses.
