Kolpin® Gun Boot® 6.0

  • Thick pile lining absorbs bumps and shock
  • Compatible with all ATV Gun Boot IV mounts
These dustproof, water-resistant and protective gun cases double as ATV or saddle scabbards. Made with a virtually indestructible, high-impact polypropylene shell for maximum protection and a 2-piece padded nylon sleeve to absorb bumps and shock that could throw off sight alignment. The hatchback design of the Gun Boot 6.0 provides easy access to rifles with scopes up to 50mm. Padded liner protects your firearm during transport. Will fit most shotguns and bolt-action rifles, including scoped rifles. Utilizes all ATV Gun Boot IV mounts, but will not fit UTV mounts. Streamlined profile for easy storage in tight spots, such as a bush plane or vehicle. Molded-in handle. Secure locking system seals tight and accepts padlock. Streamlined molded feet. ATV bracket not included. Black only.

have a factory polaris gun boot rack for my ranger. love it! had an old koplin 4 gun boot. fit in it fine, but dont like to pull off the cover. ordered a new 6.0 because of the hatch back. it fit in the rack but not very far because of the big tab on barrel end. I took a heat gun and warmed it up and pushed it down flush with the boot. work fine, very happy. Also, thanks to the other reviews, i ordered a fleece gun boot to go inside. is much better than the one that comes with it. thanks cabela's great service!

I rate the Koplin gun boot and swivel mount pretty high. Elk hunted in mud for 9 days. Gun kept in good shape.
Would recommend way to attach ends of boot to atv. Far too much vibration while traveling over rough terrain. Need to stablelize boot. Vibration could knock gun out of allingment
Also, inside padding could be thicker/heavier.

I am very happy with my recent purchase. The boot keps my Remington Model 7 with Scope secure for transport. My rifle is the short version with the 18.5 inch barrel and I was concerned the case would be t0o big. It works perfectly. I also tried it with a fullsize rifle and scope and no issues there either.

I just got the gun boot and it works really good. I did not buy a bracket I simply made my own at home. Where I hunt it is tought country and it keeps my gun in place and protected.
