    Leaks
    Date:
I purchased the 4 gallon tank a about 3 years ago and the first problem I had with it was fuel leaking around the spout. You have to position the spout just right and make it real tight. Then it developed a pin hole leak in the upper corner opposite from the spout so the tank couldn't be filled all the way. Today I went to get some gas and by the time I got the 6 miles back to the house 1/3 of the gas had leaked out. The tank had developed another pin hole leak in the lower corner below the spout. This tank has not been abused and has been stored in the garage most of the time. This tank is going in the trash and will replace it with a tank from a different vendor.

    RUN AWAY!!
    Date:
Kolpin used to make a great fuel tank but this isn't it. I have used Kolpin products in the past with great success but they have really let themselves down with this one. It leaks like a screen door. Contact was made with Kolpin to resolve the issue with no response. Google "RotoPax" and you will be very happy with your purchase.

    Leaks
    Date:
Leaked at the cap, no matter how hard I tried to secure the cap.
    Returned it for a refund.
Other riders in my group use RotoPax w/o any issues.
