This device does exactly what it is designed to do.
Given that modern arrow building tools and processes produce highly consistent batches without this device, one might question whether the improvement this device provides would be noticeable.
On the other hand, I now don't have to worry that perhaps that slightly erratic arrow flight might have been solved by this product. I can pursue other solutions.
I will continue using it. I sleep easier so it was worth the money.

Just bought this tool and used it on a new set of carbon arrows. Squared the tip of the arrows as advertised. The only complaint I have is the sharp edges at the front and back where you place the arrow in the v-groove to spin. These sharp edges will etch/mark your carbon arrow in two places if you press down with any amount of pressure. I lightly rounded the edges with a jewelers file and fixed the problem. Lucky I found and fixed the problem after the first arrow.
