I just followed the instructions, I have not had any inserts come loose. I used my snap on butane torch to heat the insert and installed them only took a couple minutes then place in cold water. My tap water wasn't hot enough to loosen the glue to realign the broadheads so I just used a heat gun on low to warm up the arrow and align the broadhead worked fine. Excess glue wiped off clean when it was hot. Works good so far, probably about 60 or 70 shots. Plus you can remove the inserts if you need to for some reason without ruining your arrow. I used this on carbon arrows.
