VG --- Trad Archers Need Creative Arrow Placement
Date:
The case has the capability of holding (36) arrows as claimed but you have to be creative with their fletching orientation. Arrows have to be placed alternately in the slots provided in the foam/sponge separators (e.g. shaft end orientation --- field point, nock, field point , nock, etc. for first layer and then the opposite for the next layer). If you are a traditional archer like myself and use long high back feathers, the creative part is keeping the fletchings from getting crushed or bent by touching adjacent arrows. I have found that the following orientation works best:
[1] Hen feathers should be facing or against the case.
[2] Cock feathers should be facing in toward the center of the case compartment.
[3] Keep in mind that while doing this you also have to orient the shafts as stated above.
Orientation of arrows would not be a problem for any archers using arrows with 3"-4" low profile feathers or vanes.
The arrows have stayed in place during transport.
I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this case to fellow archers.

Not bad for price
Date:
This lightweight, inexpensive case is better than nothing, but be aware it is a bit flimsy. The handle is uncomfortable to carry, and worst of all, the poorly made latches tend to come loose. If you get one, buy a couple of extra straps to hold it closed, and wrap the handle in foam rubber when you carry it. And don't put anything heavier than a Big Mac on top of it if you have anything valuable inside it!

Sturdy and Practical
Date:
This is the second Plano case I've bought from Cabela's. Both are tough and practical, with a non-nonsense look. The clasp closure means I never worry about the case popping open by accident. Plus, a small padlock can be used when I store my case at the clubhouse--a small hole padlock hole is already provided.
The arrows are held in two strips of open-foam rests, and they hold on pretty tight--even shaking the case hard won't dislodge the arrows. My first case had the two foam strips pretty far apart, while the second case had the strips closer together. For those using very short arrows or crossbow bolts, it's a good idea to check the case to make sure.
Highly recommended: for this price, I can't find a better arrow case.
