Description: This is a Massachusetts Arms Company Maynard patented 1859 Sporting Rifle Carbine in .50 cal with a 20" barrel. The reveiver is in good condition yet there is a patina of age. The action locks up tightly and the trigger spring is strong. The barrel has a blade front sight and three flip up rear sights. The bore is pitted but there a\re visible lans. The stock has the Maynard cartouches and is in fair condition. It has a saddle ring and the serial number is 19XXX.
