Cabela's Folding Air Bed Frame

I bought this bed frame for a week long field camp that I participate in every year. I have never camped in this kind of luxury before, being a hard core camper myself. This year has to be different because I have a bad case of frozen shoulder and find it difficult to get comfortable out side my own bed (even that is not perfect). That said, I tried out the frame with my air bed and find it very comfortable, allowing me to take all my support pillows and thus mimic my own bed. I was surprised that a frame made with a few straps could hold my bed so well. The mattress zips into the sturdy liner and stays put. I have not tried it out in the field yet, but it will surely beat camping on the ground and when the rains hit, as they do,without fail, every year, sometime during the camp, I'll be high and dry!

Comfortable for guests

We use this bed frame with a twin size airbed for a guest bed. Everyone who has slept on it says how comfortable it is and like not having to sleep directly on the floor on an air bed. Stores very compactly--we keep the frame and air bed in a closet.

Camping in Comfort

The folding air bed frame was a great purchase. With the single layer mattress held in place, and a wool layer under 100% cotton sheets, and down blankets, the bed is more comfortable than the bed at home. We have spent cozy nights in the woods of Northern MN. It is sturdy and well made. It is at a comfortable height. The only down side is the rolling case does not have any extra room so I cannot put the air mattress or the "blower upper" in the storage case.

Bought this for camping but have only used it for a spare guest so far. The guest was pleased and I hope to get it out in the woods soon.
