Its battery-powered pump, horizontal channels for indoor/outdoor comfort and 60-second deflation valve make this truly a "go-anywhere" bed. The long-life pump is built into the bed for all-in-one convenience. Requiring no external power, it runs on four D batteries (not included). The channeled sleeping surface and edge ring make hard, uneven cabin floors or pickup beds disappear underneath, guaranteeing a good night’s rest. Made of soft, puncture-resistant PVC. Imported. I am happy with this choice of purchase for an airbed. We have others but to have one that is battery operated was great and it held up to the electric ones. I can take this on all my road trips and have a bed to sleep on, thanks to the AERO GO ANYWHERE AIRBED
The last reviewer must have had that one defect out of thousands that are good beds. I have owned Aerobeds for the last 10 year (my X got the last one) this bed is outstanding. My wife and I have used ours at least a couple dozen time in the three years we've owned it and have had no problems with it what so ever. On new batteries, it fills in less than 3 mins and deflates in about 60 sec. It comes with a carry bag for easy transport and a patch kit just in case you spring a leak. This bed remains firm all night long unlike the inferior air beds that deflate over night to which you wake up with your butt on the ground in the early hours of the morning... Like you, I've owned those types of bed throughout the years and for the money I've spent on them I could have bought a couple of Aerobeds, by now... I'm willing to spent a few extra $$$ for a superior product like this Aerobed. I like it because you do not have to plug it in like some models. 4 D-cell batteries is all that it takes for you to get a good night sleep. I also like the built-in pump so you don't have to worry about if the pump has been packed with the bed. So if you're looking for a good camping airbed or if you're having guests over, this is great bed to own!
Not a good air bed at all. Unfortunately I bought this without looking at the reviews on other sites. The bed holds no air through the night and the pump took about 20 mins to inflate since you have to turn it off, then let it rest, then turn it on, etc. Thankfully we tried it before taking it camping. Returned it to Cabela's ASAP.
