The gun is fun to shoot and has a good fire rate but it broke on the 2nd day so I sent it back

Ordered this gun as a Christmas present for my Son and he was ecstatic when he first saw it. We charged the battery as per the owners manual and all this thing did was make a humming sound. Won't fire a single shot. I proceeded to open the Gun up and see if I could fix it, and found a PLASTIC GEAR CASE, and the main gear on the motors shaft was bored incorrectly causing it not to seat properly against the PLASTIC gearing inside and when I energize the motor, the shaft just spins freely. I will be shipping it off to the manufacture (Umarex) hoping it gets fixed based on poor work-manship and I have to pay all S/H charges too! I absolutely love Cabelas and know that this problem is not a reflection of them. If the manufacturer won't repair it, because I opened it up, I will never be buying a Umarex product again. I will look to find a better Air-soft Rifle that utilizes an all metal gear case.

I've had this for months. This will crank out lots of rounds. Full auto is a riot. I've only recharged it twice (it came charged). With .12 ammo it will penetrate one side of a cardboard box. It will leave a welt and bruise (trust me). I like the hop up/down adjustment (really works). You can quietly snipe if you manually cock it. Surprisingly accurate. I have a gel target and it routinely hits in the same spot and the BBs break into pieces. Not a toy.
