Weighing in at 10 lbs., these air rifles have the heft and feel of a real hunting rifle. The checked European Monte Carlo hardwood stock provides added realism. The RS3, two-stage adjustable trigger aids in accuracy. This is no toy. The break-barrel, spring-piston-powered action shoots .177-caliber pellets up to 1,250 fps and .22-caliber pellets at 1,000 fps. Includes a 3-9x40mm AO/TT scope and mounts. Overall length: 46.5". Weight: 10 lbs. Available: .177 caliber, .22 caliber.
I purchased a Beeman Mach 12,5 about a year ago, The first rifle took months to arrive due to back order. When I finally recieved it the trigger mechanism failed after the first shot and it would not cock. I returned the rifle and awaited a replacement. The second rifle was wildly innaccurate due to deiseling which continued after 200 shots or more. I do not know if it would ever be accurate as the second rifle developed the same problem as the first and now will not cock.
Had i known cabelas had this rifle they would had my business, With that said this gun is awesome out of the box very nice, stock & blueing outstanding, mounted the 3x9x40 scope under 10 shots it groups @ 10 yrds,1/4" still needs a brake-in period, no barrel droop,or scope creep as of yet.its heavy and a bear to cock. the ad says it has a ported muzzle i think thats a type-O, muzzlebrake not ported, anyway its well worth the money should last a lifetime...
Received this rifle 8/18 from Cabelas.Upon taking it out of the box my first impression was, man, this thing is BIG ! My next was, this is a quality piece of work. After mounting the scope I sighted it in at 20 yards-took 12 shots.Haven't touched the trigger settings yet-need to take a little bit of creep out.I also have a Gamo Silver Shadow which shoots good, but it has the famous Gamo twang. This Beeman has no spring noise, but it does sound like a .22 short when it goes off.I love it ! Now to the down side-this bad boy IS heavy and BIG .Don't know the cocking weight, but it feels twice as heavy as the Gamo.I'm not complaining-I knew the specs when I ordered it,and any air rifle that advertises 1250 fps is going to be tough to cock.Thought about sending it back for a lighter and easier cocking one but I just couldn't-this thing just says quality.Be advised a young child and small framed women CANNOT cock this weapon. If what I've said about the weight and cocking effort don't bother you, then I strongly recommend this rifle.
