Gamo Whisper .177-caliber Air Rifle Combo

  • Extremely quiet thanks to baffling and porting
  • 1,200 fps with PBA ammo
  • Truglo sights and scope included
  • includes 3-9x40 airgun scope
A newly designed muzzle end on the Whisper decreases sound by approximately 52% without sacrificing performance or accuracy. It shoots PBA ammo at 1,200 fps (50 rounds included) and comes equipped with both Truglo® sights and a 3-9x40mm scope (mount included). The synthetic stock is textured on the grip and has an ambidextrous cheekpiece. Rubber recoil pad.
Cocking effort: 30 lbs.
Overall length: 45-3/4".
Weight: 6.8 lbs.
To get maximum results from the sound reducing features of the Whisper models, lead pellets should be used. The included PBA ammo will result in higher speeds and will be quieter than when fired from standard models. However, it will still produce a cracking sound due to to the pellet traveling at supersonic speeds in .177 caliber.

Great reliable gun
Date:
I have had this gun for about 1 1/2 years now and it has not let me down. When I first got the gun it came with the scope but I didn't bother putting it on. After I got tired of it I put on the scope. I couldnt even get three inch groups at twenty five yards, but this was due to the fact that I was using low quality daisy pellets. After I had purchased some game red fire pellets I couls get one inch groups every shot. My brother just recently got the delux version of this gun and it is the same quality. We go hunting every weekend and the 177 cal guns never fail us and always get some jackrabbits!! This is a great gun

Great
Date:
Bought 2 of these guns when they were on sale at cabelas(one for my father for Christmas). Inspite of lots of negative reviews on here I thought I would give it a chance. It seems like most people on here are complaining about how hard it is to sight in. I put less than 10 pellets through each of these guns and both are shooting 1 inch groups at 50 yds. I couldnt be happier with the performance and the ease of use. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I havent been able to get out and use it besides on the range! Get one!

Bad Gun
Date:
I purchased this gun at the Reno store. I took it home and tried to sight it in, with terrible results. It would not hold a six inch group at 25 yards. It would hit one or two shots within about 3 inchs , then way low or rigth or left. The only redeaming factor was when I returned it to the store, Cabelas said they had had many of these returned for the same reason. I sugested they take it off the shelf and stop wasting peoples time! I am going to go with a more reliable brand!!!! I ordered a Walther which has excelent reviews, we shall see!
