Outfitted with a 4x32 scope, laser sight and light, this is a varmint’s worst nightmare. Its single-stroke power plant shoots .177-caliber pellets up to 1,400 fps and .22-caliber pellets up to 1,000 fps (with PBA Platinum pellets). Grooved receiver and two-piece scope mount included. Tactical-style synthetic stock. Fluted, polymer-jacketed barrel. Adjustable trigger pull. Manual safety. Single-shot break action. Cocking effort: 41 lbs. Barrel length: 18". Overall length: 43.8". Weight: 6.6 lbs. Calibers: .22, .177.
I bought this air rifle as my first .22 cal air rifle and I must say that I am impressed. Fucntions well, good accuracy (half inch at 50 yards), and GAMO finnaly put a nice trigger on a gun. Firm trigger but a nice crisp break, not an obnociously long pull like some of the others. Not the quietest air rife, in fact it is quite loud. Not the best if you have neibors close by. Also, it is a thumper for an air rifle. Quite a bit of kick, if you use a cheap scope mount without a lock it will nock the scope off no matter how hard you tighten the screws. All in all, it is a good quality air rifle.
Did Not Work New Out of the Box. Poor instructions. Poorly made. Has tiny out of place screw you can't turn to adjust trigger. Put in the shed. Wasted xmas money. Did not return (Too much trouble).
This gun is excellent, killed 8 squirrels so far between 25 and 35 yards with lead pellets, complete pass through shots, I really love this gun , took only about 20 min. to sight the scope in, very accurate, havent used the laser yet , dont think ill really need it
This is my first GAMO pellet rifle in .177 cal. I really like it. Its not all heave like some of the others I've tried in the past. The rifle shoots strong with PBA type pellets and just as good with lead. After shooting different kinds of pellets I came up with three that it liked. Zeroed in at 15 yrds made it real easy. groups can be covered with your finger using Crossman distoryer RWS Supper Dome & Camo Glow pellets. All lead. I could tell it would group with some of the others but when I had three brands that would group in the same place with out having to mess with the scope I left it alone. This rifle sounds like a 22 when using the PBA type pellets and not much less with the lead. I like it but if I lived in the city believe I'd have to go with something not so loud. I like it enough to get the same rifle in .22 cal next time. Nice change of pace. Thinks Gamo. They make some real nice rifles.
