Bad Idea
Date:
I tried to use the trap to catch crawfish on a recent canoeing trip. I baited the trap and within about 4 hours went back to find that it had been ripped to shreds. I think a turtle got to the bait.
I would definitely get one of the wire traps that can withstand a little abuse over this one.

poor
Date:
to large of opening, 12" catfish can get in and then tear apart the netting to get out I had to repair trap three times in a 8 hr soak, great idea but needs to be made of stronger netting and openings need to be smaller
