U-40 Dura Gloss LS

Dura Gloss LS (Light Stable) exemplifies the latest in epoxy polymer technology. The medium-viscosity material produces an ultra-clear non-yellowing finish with exceptional tolerance to ultra-violet light and excellent penetration characteristics (will easily wet through three layers of thread). It's virtually bubble-free and extremely durable.

Wonderful product

I have built several rods and this U-40 Dura Gloss had a great "useful" life and I did not have to hurry to apply it to my wraps. It goes on smoothly and finishes with a great appearance. It does require two coats, but is well worth it in appearance and overall finish.

Rod Repair

I used the U-40 Dura Gloss LS to repair my favorite fishing rod. I've had this rod for about ten years and have caught most of my fish with it. Before I left for a Canada fishing trip the bottom eye of the pole broke off. I cleaned it up and used the U-40 Dura Gloss LS to secure it to the pole. I used the pole in Canada and caught many fish over 30" with it. Didn't have a problem with the pole.

U 40 LS DURA GLOSS finish

Worst finish I have used.Maybe because my tackle room doesn"t have a drying turner.However I had great results with the Rodsmith finish you had a year or so ago. I plan to return the U 40 for a refund or another product.
