U-40 Cork Seal

Cork Seal greatly prolongs the life of your cork grip by preventing the penetration of soils and other foreign matter. It also enhances the feel of the cork and toughens the surface, preventing chipping and sloughing. Once the seal is dry, grime is easily washed off using soap and water. It soaks in deeply for long-lasting protection. Comes in 2-oz. jar.

Recently I have built my first rod. This cork seal has been very good for sealing your high quality cork handle. It's efficient and easy to apply for a beginner rod builder. Good stuff!

I remade an ancient cane rod a friend gave me and in addition to installing new guides decided the cork handle needed a major cleanup. Bought this cork sealant on a recommendation to use on the cleaned cork and it worked great.. Simple to apply with a brush and easy to clean up after. I've since also cleaned up my spinning and casting rod handles then applied the sealant. It helps keep the cork clean longer and gives it a nice feel in the hand. Enough in a jar to do a lot of rod handles.
